My journey into real estate is a bit unique. I spent over 20 years working as a Law Clerk across Ontario, where I specialized in the ins and outs of real estate transactions. This role gave me a deep understanding of the legal aspects of buying and selling homes, and I cherished every moment I got to hand over the keys to new homeowners. That joy sparked my decision to become a real estate agent in 2016.

I wanted to be there for my clients from the very start of their journey, not just at the finish line. My background means I can offer insights into the legalities of the process, but what I really love is building relationships and guiding clients through one of the most important decisions of their lives.

Understanding the journey of first-time homeowners is more than just professional for me; it’s deeply personal. In 2024, my son started his own journey into homeownership, purchasing his first condo in Toronto. I empathize with the current challenges and complexities faced by new first time homeowners. It also highlighted the vital role family support plays, often requiring assistance from parents and grandparents to successfully find their way through the real estate market.  I strive to provide a guiding hand through this significant life milestone, ensuring the process is not only clear and straightforward but also enjoyable. It’s crucial to me that my clients feel informed and confident in their decisions, as I understand firsthand the mix of excitement and apprehension that accompanies buying your first home.

I have a particular interest in helping those looking to downsize. This transition is more than just a move; it’s a life change, and I’m here to make it as seamless as possible. Teaming up with a local company skilled in decluttering and preparing homes for the market, I ensure that your property presents at its best, appealing to the right buyers and securing the best value.  As an empty nester myself, I deeply understand the mix of emotions and challenges that come with this significant life transition. It’s not just about selling a property; it’s about moving forward into a new phase of life with excitement and confidence.

What sets me apart? My creative side, as a local community theatre actor, I use that creativity into how I market properties. I believe every home has a story, and I use my skills to showcase homes in a way that is both beautiful and captivating, ensuring they stand out in the best possible light.

I call Port Elgin home, alongside my partner Jim Elliott, a trusted local home inspector, and our beloved French Bulldog, Lenny. Our roots in this community run deep, and I bring that local knowledge and personal touch to every client interaction.
